The End.

Following on from the closure of the bogie facility (comprising the former 7 and 9 shops) late December 2005 witnessed the arrival on site of demolition equipment more of which arrived in early 2006. The view below shows one such piece of equipment awaiting unloading on Wednesday 1st February 2006 with 7 and 9 shops still standing in the background.

By Saturday 11th February 2006 only one bay of the former 7 shop remained visible as seen from platform 6 of Derby Station.
