47703 stands at Dundee on 14th July 2005

47832 is seen at the other end of the train. Interestingly this example was the only one of the four locos used to have been built by British Rail at Crewe. As D1610 it went on to become 47031, 47560 before becoming 47832. For most of its life the loco was  Western Region based and carried the name 'Tamar' (named on 25/4/82) until fairly recently.

Both sets retired to the nearby holding sidings for a few hours where routine servicing was carried out. 47703 and 709 are seen on 14th July 2005.
